Katara Summer Camp 2024, organised by the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara), has welcomed its third and final group of participating children for this edition. The camp, running until August 7, features educational and recreational programmes that include art workshops, awareness courses, and practical training aimed at developing the participants’ skills both individually and in groups.

The diverse programme at the Katara Summer Camp 2024 is designed to develop participants’ skills while creating an integrated educational and recreational environment. The camp also includes interactive and insightful field visits and outdoor activities for the children.

On the first day, the camp offered practical training workshops on extinguishing fires, creative story writing, poetry and a religious awareness workshop focusing on the value of honesty and its impact on individual and societal life. Additionally, cultural games were held to engage the children.

Participating organisations in the Katara Summer Camp 2024 include several prominent local institutions such as the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Al Jazeera Media Institute, Sout Al Khaleej Radio, Qatar Red Crescent Society, Al Shaqab, Al Thuraya Planetarium, and the Al Gannas Association.
