Minister of Sports & Youth visits QFA Elite Referees’ training camp

HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth and Honorary President of the Qatar Football Association (QFA), on Sunday visited the QFA Elite Referees’ annual training camp which began on July 27 and continues till August 7. His Excellency the Minister of Sports and Youth expressed his great support for the Qatar referees, calling on the attendees to exert their utmost effort to excel in managing the most difficult and important matches with high efficiency. His Excellency hoped that the successful journey of Qatari arbitration would continue in the new season, which will witness many local and international championships. For his part, Hani Taleb Ballan, Chairman of the Referees Committee of QFA, appreciated the gesture from His Excellency the Minister of Sports and Youth, noting that this visit will have a great positive impact, and act as a moral support for the Qatari arbitration system ahead of the start of the 2024-2025 football season.
