Australia’s Alisa Trew added Olympic gold to her two X Games titles with a dominant showing in the women’s skateboard park event at the Paris Games on Tuesday.

The 14-year-old Trew amassed 93.18 points in the third and final run at Place de La Concorde where the urban events take place.

Cocona Hiraki of Japan, 15, had to settle for silver like at the Tokyo 2020 Games. Britain’s 16-year-old Sky Brown got back-to-back bronze medals despite dislocating her shoulder recently and falling on it in the mid-day preliminary round.

Trew last year became the first woman to perform a 720 trick in a competition and in May the first womann to show a 900. She won her event at the 2022 and 2023 X Games and in both Paris qualifying events.

Tokyo gold medallist Sakura Yosozumi went out in the preliminary round, and so did Chinese Zheng Haohao, at 11 the youngest athlete at the Paris Games.
