PARIS: President of the Qatar Olympic Committee HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani met with President of the Chinese Olympic Committee and Minister of Sports of China Gao Zhidan.
The meeting took place at the Chinese hospitality house on the sidelines of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Sheikh Joaan was joined by Second Vice President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Dr Thani Al Kuwari, and Secretary General of the Qatar Olympic Committee Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain.
The meeting discussed cooperation between Qatar and China in the sports sector and the development of the Olympic Movement.
