He expressed his conviction that the results of the negotiations that took place in Doha and the signing of the Doha Peace Agreement and participation in the national dialogue between most of the Chadian parties will constitute an important and delicate stage for the Chadian people during the national dialogue to find solutions to all contentious issues and to achieve national reconciliation and meet the aspirations of the Chadian people.Sherif Mohamed Zein, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad in the Republic of Chad, praised the great role of Qatar in mediating between the Chadian parties, which led to a happy ending while describing Doha as the “peace capital” of the world.He also stressed that Qatar has deployed all its capabilities to make the peace path a success, especially since this agreement was signed by more than 90 percent of the armed movements, and this counts for the Qatari diplomacy that succeeded before that in all negotiations. Zein also expressed his gratitude to the Emir, government, and people of Qatar for accepting to embrace these talks and for being the mediator between the Chadian parties for about five months, despite the difficulties involved.A number of officials of the African Union and the Chadian negotiating parties stressed the great importance of the “Doha Peace Agreement and the participation of political-military movements in the comprehensive and sovereign national dialogue in Chad”, which was signed today in Doha under the auspices of the State of Qatar, with the participation of political-military movements in the national dialogue.
