DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has said his meeting on Thursday with President of the Republic of Turkey HE Recep Tayyip Erdogan came within strengthening bilateral relations and coordinating efforts regarding developments in the region.
In a post on his official X account @TamimBinHamad His Highness the Amir said: 'My meeting today with my brother President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara comes within the framework of strengthening our strategic relations and comprehensive bilateral cooperation, and coordinating our joint efforts regarding developments in the region and its increasing challenges, especially our efforts to reduce escalation and reach a solution to stop the war on Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories, and everything that leads to establishing peace and prosperity in our regional environment.'
