The Pakistan Cultural Forum Qatar, in collaboration with Al Jasrah Cultural Social Club and under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, is set to host a grand celebration of Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day on the evening of August 13, 2024 (today) from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

The event, which will take place at the historic Al Jasrah Cultural Social Club in Souq Waqif, Doha, promises to be a memorable family occasion.

The celebration, which marks a significant national day for Pakistan, will be graced by the presence of dignitaries, members of civil society, and families from the local community.

The ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar will honour the occasion as the chief guest, while a dignitary from the Ministry of Culture will attend as the guest of honour.

Founder Chairperson of the Pakistan Cultural Forum Dr Khalil Shibli expressed his excitement for the event, highlighting its importance in bringing the community together to celebrate Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage.

"This event is a reflection of our strong ties with Qatar and our commitment to preserving and promoting the culture and traditions of Pakistan,” said Dr Shibli.

The evening will feature a variety of melodious national and patriotic songs, offering a heartwarming tribute to Pakistan’s history and the sacrifices made for its independence. The organisers have ensured that the event will be a vibrant and inclusive celebration, welcoming families to join in the festivities.
