Commercial Bank (CB), a leader in innovative digital banking solutions in Qatar, has successfully concluded its second Young Investors Summer Internship Program. The celebration, held at Commercial Bank Plaza, brought together parents, senior bank management, investment experts, and the interns, who were recognized for their successful completion of the programme.

Launched in 2023, the CB Young Investors Program was created to educate and empower the youth of Qatar, strengthening their knowledge of the banking and investment sectors.

This initiative has since become an integral part of Commercial Bank’s vision and is now a staple in the bank’s annual calendar, with internship programs running during the months of July and August each year.

Speaking on the occasion, Commercial Bank EGM and Head of Retail Banking Shahnawaz Rashid emphasised the programme’s alignment with Qatar National Vision 2030.

"Our CB Young Investors Program equips the youth with essential skills for success in the banking industry and investment market. These programs are guided by our strategic vision and innovative methods, positioning us as leaders in the market,”Rashid stated.

Highlighting the importance of corporate social responsibility in the bank’s mission. Commercial Bank AGM and Senior Director of Premium Banking Reham Sabri said, "Empowering our community’s knowledge in the financial industry and investment markets is a key aspect of our corporate social responsibility. Through this initiative, we aimed to build a strong financial foundation within the younger generation, enabling them to use these skills as guiding principles in their future investment decisions.”
