Qatar, France officials' meet focuses on security cooperation, combating terrorism

DOHA: As part of Qatar’s commitment to enhancing its role as an active partner in international efforts to combat terrorism, Brigadier General Nawaf Majid Al Ali, Assistant Commander of Lekhwiya Force for Security Operations and Commander of Qatari Forces for Security of the Paris 2024 Olympics, received Major General Ghislain Ritte, Commander of the GIGN Rapid Intervention Unit in France.

The meeting focused on strengthening the strategic partnership in the field of security cooperation, and Qatar’s prominent role in combating terrorism, while taking advantage of major sporting events to promote peace and international cooperation.
