Rawdat Al Khail Health Center has now been thrown open to the publci with its inauguration by Minister of Public Health HE Dr Hanan al Kuwari.
The centre has all the latest equipment that will help provide quality medical services. The centre has 39 doctors, 85 nurses and 38 administrative employees.
The centre will remain open from 7am to 11pm daily.
Kuwari said the new health centre is part of an ambitious strategy to promote public health and raise the quality of health services.
She said the ministry's programmes include many projects for development of primary healthcare in Qatar. The construction of new health centres and renovation of existing ones are part of the programmes.
The minister later toured the new complex and was briefed about the services available at the facility.
The centre has vaccination, non-communicable diseases, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology and dental clinics. Medical Commission services and other units such as ophthalmology, dermatology, mental health and health and wellness are also available at the centre.
Managing Director of Primary Health Care Corporation Dr Mariam Abdulmalik was also present at the opening ceremony. page
