DOHA: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has held a phone call with Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran HE Ali Bagheri Kani.
During the call, they reviewed relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, developments in joint mediation efforts to end the war on the Strip, and the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, and stressed the need for calm and de-escalation in the region.
