Tribune News NetworkDohaMowasalat (Karwa) has signed a cooperation agreement with Qatar Charity (QC) to support QC’s projects and to benefit from its expertise in providing qualified volunteers to work in Karwa within the company’s corporate social responsibility framework.The agreement aims to establish the strategic partnership between the parties to serve community and humanitarian works, in addition to encouraging voluntary work.The agreement was signed by Karwa COO Ahmad Hassan Al Obaidly and CEO’s Assistant for Programme and Community Development Sector at Qatar Charity Faisal Rashid AlFehaida. The signing of the agreement is the culmination of many cooperation initiatives between Karwa and Qatar Charity over the past years. It marks the beginning of a new phase of increased collaboration.Commenting on the agreement, Karwa CEO Fahad Saad Al-Qahtani said, “This cooperation will be very beneficial for a number of joint initiatives to serve the community. We highly value Qatar Charity expertise in selecting the best volunteers to form a work team for supporting Mowasalat (Karwa) during the upcoming mega sports events in the country. We will join forces to maintain and build on Qatar’s welcoming image worldwide.”Qatar Charity CEO Yousef bin Ahmed Al Kuwari expressed his delight with the agreement signed with Karwa, noting that the agreement is an extension of the continuous cooperation between the two parties. He also hoped that this agreement will deepen cooperation in the future, adding that the partnership is in line with Qatar Charity’s interests in spreading the culture of voluntary work and involve members of the society in the community services in particular and humanitarian work in general. Kuwari indicated that the agreement is part of Qatar Charity’s efforts to cooperate and partner with all entities within the country.
