Students from Pakistan International School, Qatar (PISQ) have once again achieved top positions in the HSSC-I and HSSC-II Annual Examination 2024 conducted by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Pakistan. The results, announced on August 23, 2024, showcased the outstanding academic performance of PISQ students, who secured a remarkable number of high grades, further cementing the school’s reputation for academic excellence in Doha.

In the HSSC-II examination, PISQ students earned 17 ‘A1’ grades, while in the HSSC-I examination, they secured 34 ‘A1’ grades. A total of 200 students from HSSC-I and 131 students from HSSC-II appeared for the 2024 annual examination.

Maheen Fatima, from the Pre-Medical Group, led the achievements by securing the first position among all FBISE-affiliated schools in Qatar with an impressive score of 997/1100 in the HSSC-II examination. In HSSC-I, Hafsa Sajid also achieved the first position among all Pakistani schools in Qatar, scoring 517/550.

Additional top scorers in HSSC-II include Aasia Owais, who secured the second position with 983/1100 marks, and Maria Hafeez, who achieved third place with 980/1100 marks, both in the Pre-Medical Group. In HSSC-I, Fiza Maryam took the second position with 505/550 marks, and Maimoona Mohammad Luqman Khan secured the third position with 502/550 marks in the Pre-Medical Group.

In the Pre-Engineering Group, Muhammad Talha Saleemi emerged as the top scorer with 492/550 marks, while Ahlam Rashid achieved the highest score in the Science General Group with 492/550 marks. In the Commerce Group, Mohammad Ishaq secured the first position with 477/550 marks, and in the Humanities Group, Sara stood first with 446/550 marks in the HSSC-I examination.

For the HSSC-II examination, Zuha Imran led the Pre-Engineering Group with 865/1100 marks. Sheikh Muhammad Bilal secured first place in the Science General Group with 813/1100 marks, Salwa achieved the highest score in the Commerce Group with 937/1100 marks, and Amna topped the Humanities Group with 880/1100 marks.

PISQ Principal Syed Asif Ali Shah expressed his delight over the outstanding results, congratulating the students, parents, and teachers for their hard work and dedication. The Ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar HE Muhemmed Aejaz also extended his heartfelt congratulations, encouraging students to continue their pursuit of excellence and advising them to set clear and practical career goals for their futures.
