TEHRAN: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran HE Abbas Araghchi, in Tehran.
They reviewed relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, discussed developments in the situation in Gaza and the occupied Palestinian territories, the latest developments in mediation efforts to reach a ceasefire agreement, and tensions in the Middle East region.
The importance of putting an end to the crimes of the occupation forces against Palestinians, ending the war on the Gaza Strip, and stopping the terrorism practised by settlers in the West Bank were also emphasised, in order to spare the region the dangers of escalation.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs congratulated Araghchi on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressing his wishes for success and guidance.
