DOHA: Qatar Amiri Air Forces, represented by Rafale squadron, has conducted a joint exercise with the PEGASE 24 mission of the French Air and Space Force, taking off from Dukhan Air Base in Qatar.
Qatar's acquisition of a Rafale fleet is key to aeronautics operational cooperation. Regular joint operational activities on land and in the air and training are carried out in both France and Qatar.
In regards to the air components, Qatar Amiri Air Forces and the French Air and Space Force regularly carry out operational training, especially air-to-air refuelling and joint exercises.
Qatar is a strategic partner for France in the Gulf area, an operational support hub and a gateway to the Indian and Pacific oceans.
