Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecommunications operator and ICT provider, welcomed its brand ambassador and national champion, Mutaz Barshim, to its headquarters to celebrate his remarkable achievements. Barshim, Olympic gold medallist and World Champion, was honoured for winning a bronze medal in the men’s high jump at the Paris 2024 Olympics. This accomplishment marks his fourth consecutive Olympic medal, further solidifying his legacy as a world-class athlete and a source of pride for Qatar.

Ooredoo Qatar’s CEO Sheikh Ali bin Jabor Al Thani personally welcomed Barshim and congratulated him on his remarkable achievements, while highlighting his recent win in Paris. Sheikh Ali also praised Barshim for his dedication to raising Qatar’s flag on the global stage and acting as a true inspiration to future generations.

During his visit, Barshim reflected on the support he has received from Ooredoo and expressed his gratitude, stating, "I would like to thank Ooredoo Qatar for their continuous support and dedication throughout my sports journey. As a company that champions innovation and nurtures local talent, it comes as no surprise that they continue to stand by me.”
