The organisers have urged compassionate individuals to come forward and support this noble cause.

Donating blood is a simple, safe, and quick process, usually taking less than an hour. Blood types are categorized into four main groups: A, B, AB, and O, with each type being either Rh-positive or Rh-negative. Type O negative is the universal donor, compatible with all blood types, making it critical for emergencies. Type AB positive is the universal plasma donor, essential for treating patients with blood disorders.

Despite advances in medical science, there is no substitute for human blood. Blood donation is a small act with a significant impact, helping save lives and fostering a sense of community.
