Qatar athletes continue to excel at U20 World Championships in Peru

Qatar athletes continued to excel at the World Athletics U20 Championships Lima 2024 in Peru, making finals in different events. Apart from Hatem Hamid (800m), Seif Abdelsalam advanced to the final of pole vault while Omar Dawood reached the men’s 110 meters hurdles final. Ahmed Jibreen booked his spot in the final of discus throw while Qatar quartet of Mazen, Osama, Mahmoud and Khaled made it to the men’s 4x400m final. The ongoing event in Lima, Peru, is seen as crucial for the preparation of Al Annabi athletes for other forthcoming global and international championships. (TNN)
