Civil aviation authorities of Qatar and Jordan have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to liberalise passenger and cargo flights, allowing designated carriers to operate on any number of flights, to boost cooperation in air transport between the two countries.The agreement was signed during bilateral talks held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Wednesday between the civil aviation authorities in the two countries, where the delegation of the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) was headed by Mohamad Faleh Al Hajri, in charge of managing QCAA, while the Jordanian side was chaired by the Chief Commissioner and CEO of Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission Captain Haitham Misto.During the talks, they discussed matters of common interest in the civil aviation field and the ways to enhance them.The results of the agreement will be positively reflected on the overall economic and investment activity and trade exchange.
