The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani attended the dinner banquet hosted by Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson in honour of HH the Amir and his accompanying delegation at the Prime Minister’s residence ‘Sager House’ in Stockholm on Monday.
The banquet was attended by HRH Crown Princess Victoria of the Kingdom of Sweden and Speaker of the Parliament of Sweden (Riksdag) Andreas Norlen.
The banquet was also attended by a number of members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir. From the Swedish side, it was attended by a number of ministers and ranking officials.
HH the Amir met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden Tobias Billstrom in Stockholm.
During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two countries and ways to develop them. They also discussed regional and international developments, especially the developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
The meeting was attended by a number of members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir.
Earlier on arrival at Stockholm Arlanda Airport, HH the Amir and his accompanying delegation were welcomed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden Tobias Billstrom, Ambassador of Qatar to Sweden HE Nadia bint Ahmad Al Sheebi, Ambassador of Sweden to Qatar HE Gautam Bhattacharyya and Qatari embassy staff.
