In commemoration of the Hijri month of Rabi’ al-Awwal, which holds special significance as it evokes memories of the Prophet (PBUH), the Malarvadi Children Organization Rayyan Zone organised a series of competitions for children up to the age of 13. The event aimed to instill the values of the Prophet’s (PBUH) life among the young participants, engaging them in activities that celebrated his teachings and legacy.

The competitions were categorised into four groups—Buds, Kids, Sub Junior, and Junior—ensuring that children of various age groups could participate and showcase their talents. The event saw a large turnout, with enthusiastic participation across all categories, highlighting the community’s dedication to educating and engaging the younger generation in cultural and religious remembrance.

Competition Results:

• Prophetic Praise Song - Sub Junior: Fathima Haneen Arshad won first place, followed by Muhammed Ishaan Shameer in second, and Minha Maryam in third.

• Prophetic Praise Song - Junior: Aisha Al Hasani took first place, with Minha securing second place and Zeba Zerin Shafah coming in third.

• The Compassionate Prophet - Speech - Junior: Minha secured the top spot, with Ihsan Muhammed Minsu and Ismail Muhammed Minsu finishing second and third, respectively.

• Prophetic Stories - Kids: Ameer Hassan clinched first place, followed by Aasiya Al Hasani and Amina Niyas in second and third.

• Prophetic Stories - Sub Junior: Fathima Haneen Arshad won first place, with Lena Shafeeq in second and Ayisha Niyas in third.

• Coloring - Kids: Ala Zainab took first place, followed by Sara Nadeer and Aasiya Al Hasani.

• Coloring - Buds: Nuha Ajmal claimed the first prize, while Hazim Hamdi and Mehza Shajid took second and third, respectively.

The prize distribution ceremony was a highlight of the event, celebrating the winners for their outstanding performances. Prizes were handed out by prominent community figures, including Subul Abdul Azeez, Vice President of the Center for Indian Community (CIC) Rayyan Zone, and Zonal Secretary Abdul Jaleel M.M. Other dignitaries present included Women India Rayyan Zonal Secretary Sainab Abdul Jaleel, Rafeeq Thangal, Shameer Manalil, Mohammed Nisar, and Malarvadi office bearers Shabana Shafi, Faseela Shibili, Dana Muhiyudheen, Sameena Asif, Jasmin Haris, Hana Salahudheen, Ruby Kalam, Saleena Babu, and Faseela Nayeem.

The event was not only a platform for children to showcase their talents but also a meaningful way to engage them with the Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings through creative expression. The Malarvadi Children Organization continues to play a vital role in nurturing the moral and cultural values of young members of the community, making events like these both memorable and educational.
