Chairperson of Education Above All and UN Sustainable Development Goals Advocate HE Sheikha Moza bint Nasser met First Lady of Brazil Rosangela Lula da Silva in Doha on Sunday.
During the meeting, they reviewed the projects of Education Above All Foundation (EAA), which aim to provide education to children and youth in marginalised areas of Brazil, in addition to the efforts to protect education during wars and conflicts.
HH Sheikha Moza also visited the First Assalam School.
She was briefed on the continued efforts exerted by EAA’s ‘Together Project’, which aims to provide quality education and training to Palestinian children and youth who have been deprived of formal education opportunities because of the ongoing war on Gaza.
HH Sheikha Moza was accompanied by Prime Minister of Yemen Dr Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak and First Lady of Brazil Rosangela Lula da Silva.
