DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has received the credentials of five new ambassadors to the country, at his office at the Amiri Diwan.
His Highness received the credentials of HE Fayez Majed Abu Al-Rub, Ambassador of the State of Palestine, HE Gonzalo Voto Bernales Gatica, Ambassador of the Republic of Peru, HE Andreas Nicolaides, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus, HE Patricio Diaz Bruton, Ambassador of the Republic of Chile, and HE Maria Belovas, Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia.
His Highness the Amir welcomed the ambassadors, wishing them success in their missions, and for the relations between Qatar and their countries to further develop and grow. For their part, The ambassadors conveyed to His Highness the greetings of their countries’ leaders and their wishes for the Qatari people to continue to progress and prosper.
An official reception ceremony was held for the ambassadors upon their arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
