The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received credentials of five new ambassadors to Qatar, at his office at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday.
HH the Amir received the credentials of Ambassador of the State of Palestine HE Fayez Majed Abu Al Rab, Ambassador of Peru HE Gonzalo Voto Bernales Gatica, Ambassador of Cyprus HE Andreas Nicolaides, Ambassador of Chile HE Patricio Diaz Bruton, and Ambassador of Estonia HE Maria Belovas.
HH the Amir welcomed the new ambassadors, wishing them success in their missions, and further development and growth in the relations between Qatar and their countries.
For their part, the ambassadors conveyed to the greetings of the leaders of their countries and their wishes for continued progress and prosperity to HH the Amir and the Qatari people.
Earlier, the ambassadors were accorded official reception ceremonies upon arrival to the Amir Diwan.(QNA)
