His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, President of the Qatar Football Association, who is currently visiting Cairo, met with Mr. Gamal Allam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association, to discuss strengthening relations between the two federations. The Qatar Federation said in a statement on Thursday that during the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation in issues of common interest between the two federations, which have strong brotherly relations extending over many years. The statement stated that the Qatari and Egyptian federations aim to raise football to higher heights, to include more areas that will have many fruitful results at all levels in the coming period, which in turn will enhance the chances of continuous success for football in both countries.
