BEIRUT: Qatar Fund for Development, in cooperation with the Lebanese Ministry of Health, laid the foundation stone for the reconstruction of the Karentina Hospital in Beirut.
The event took place amid a ceremony held in the heart of Beirut, in the presence of a delegation from Qatar Fund for Development headed by Sultan bin Ahmed Al-Aseeri, Acting Director General at QFFD.
Also present were several prominent figures, including HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Ambassador of Qatar to Lebanon, HE Dr Firas Abiad, Minister of Public Health in Lebanon, and Dr Michel Matar, Chairman of the Board of Karantina Hospital.
