Ashghal President HE Dr Engineer Saad bin Ahmed Al Muhannadi said, "We are certain that the exhibition will create a positive shift in the journey of digital and technological transformation in the field of construction and services in Qatar.”

He added that modern technology would be included in Ashghal’s current and future projects, starting next October, with the aim of reducing reliance on unskilled labor and replacing it with advanced technology in building construction. As for the modern technology used in infrastructure projects, some modern technologies have been selected and are currently being verified to be suitable for generalization to all projects

The conference agenda is packed with insightful sessions, including a focus on the "Future of Construction Using 3D Printing” and the applications of advanced technology in construction and services. Speakers from Ashghal, Google, and Huawei presented a variety of topics in the pitching area, including the use of artificial intelligence in contract issuance and certification, building information BIM as backbone: enabling smooth delivery of digital projects, introducing real estate intelligence, and finally how to build a successful start-up.

The first day of the exhibition saw signing of six agreements between Ashghal and each of Siemens, Viola, Huawei, and EMPA. Mannai Company signed two agreements with Rockwell Automation and Johnson Controls on the first day of the opening of the exhibition.

Featuring more than 60 speakers and 250 exhibitors, the expo is expected to attract over 15,000 visitors, including major global participants like Google, Microsoft, Siemens, Huawei, and IBM.

From start-ups to multinational corporations, visiting ConteQ Expo 2024 promises benefits that extend beyond the event itself.

Attendees can engage in workshops, panel discussions, and explore the latest technologies, solutions, and methodologies in modern construction and services.
