A new group of licenced Qatari real estate brokers took the legal oath before the Real Estate Brokers Affairs Committee at the Ministry of Justice. The batch consists of 10 brokers, including both individuals and real estate brokerage companies.

This licensing comes under the framework of Law No. (22) of 2017, which regulates real estate brokerage in Qatar. The law aims to create an organised legal environment that aligns with the country’s economic growth and expanding real estate sector, contributing to the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.

Assistant Undersecretary for Real Estate Registration and Documentation Affairs and Chairperson of the Real Estate Brokers Affairs Committee Saeed Abdullah Al Suwaidi welcomed the new brokers. He stressed the importance of working with licensed brokers to safeguard the rights of all parties involved in real estate transactions.

The ministry’s efforts to regulate the real estate market include ensuring compliance with legal requirements, inspecting brokerage offices, and providing specialized training to brokers.
