Pakistan’s Ambassador to Qatar HE Muhammed Aejaz held an important meeting with Sheikh Nasser Nawaf Nasser Bin Khaled Al-Thani, CEO of Nasser Bin Nawaf & Partners Holdings, and CEO of Heirs of Nasser Bin Khaled & Sons Holding.

The meeting aimed at exploring potential areas of collaboration between Pakistan and Qatar. Senior officials of the embassy were present at the meeting.

The discussions centered on labour recruitment from Pakistan, investment in tourism-related projects, and joint ventures in sectors like medical supplies, hospitality, and IT. The conversation also highlighted the involvement of Qatari businesses in upcoming high-level events.

The embassy extended invitations to NBN for several key events, including the 18th Trade Fair of OIC Member States, TEXPO 2024, and the Pakistan Health Industry Roadshow.

Additionally, NBN was encouraged to join the Pakistan Business Council Qatar as an honorary member to further strengthen bilateral business ties.

Sheikh Nasser Nawaf Nasser Bin Khaled Al-Thani expressed interest in collaborating with Pakistan, particularly in labour recruitment, hospitality, and tourism sectors. He also suggested to involve the Qatari Businessmen Association to deepen business engagements.

The meeting concluded with both sides affirming their commitment to exploring mutually beneficial partnerships ahead of the state visit of Prime Minister of Pakistan in October 2024.

Mohammed Naeem Saleem, Chief Operations Officer, NBN Holding; Mohammed Fricky Khan, Manager NBN Holding, and prominent community members Syed Samer Hussain and Muhammad Usman attended the meeting.
