Qatar Charity (QC) recently honoured Pakistani community for organising fundraising suhour during Ramadan.

Pakistan Welfare Forum (PWF), in partnership with QC, had organised a successful event during Ramadan in Industrial Area where a large number of professionals, businessmen and philanthropists from the Pakistan community participated.

Jassim Abdullah Al-Jassim, advisor to Qatar Charity’s CEO, presented certificates of appreciation to PWF President Khalid Sajjad Bhatti and Managing Director of Al Anis Trading Company Muhammad Israr Malazai in the presence of Qatar Charity’s Ibrahim Al-Muftah and Ishak.

Senior PWF Founding Executive Committee member Chaudhary Mohammad Ajmal and Sabir Zahoor also graced the occasion.

Jassim highlighted and appreciated the active role being played by PWF in promoting welfare activities. He also thanked the Pakistani community members for supporting Qatar Charity’s initiatives in Qatar. "I hope that the ongoing relations between QC and PWF would be further strengthened in the coming days,” he said.

Bhatti thanked QC officials for their continued support in carrying out various projects for the benefit of low-income families and workers. He thanked all the participants, volunteers, and community members for making the suhour event a big success. He also thanked PWF Founding Executive Committee members and Steering Committee members for their active support and guidance in organising the event.

PWF and QC joined hands for the welfare of Pakistani expatriates in 2018. This strategic partnership complements the efforts of both the organisations which seek to contribute significantly to meeting the social, educational, and medical needs of low-income community members.
