The Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation-Qatar (NIDO-Qatar) recently organised a free medical and dental camp for community members. The camp held at Yasmed Medical Centre included free service checks and reduced discounted prices for dental services.

According to the president of NIDO-Qatar Ajibade Lateef, the medical camp was a success and achieved its aims and objectives. He said Nigerians were able to have access to quality consultation, checkup and learn their health status. Many were also presented with a follow up plan, initiated by the medical centre for those who need close monitoring.

Lateef disclosed that NIDO-Qatar has a good plan to enable usage of Yasmed’s their facilities for consultations free of charge.

Meanwhile, members who attended the medical clinic have a one-year access to Yasmed Medical Centre at a discounted rate for any consultation.

The Communities presidents of Kenya, Omar Farah and Uganda Aliguma Saul Rayyan and Margaret Kabue from the Kenyan Domestic Workers Organization were among those who attended the camp.
