DOHA: Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has said summer ends astronomically and autumn begins this year on Sunday (Sept 22).
The chances of local rain clouds forming increase, it further said in a social media post.
QMD on August 24 announced the first night of the 'Al-Tarf' phase of the Suhail star, one of the last summer stars that signals the end of the season.
