DOHA: Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani met with Commander of the French Gendarmerie General Christian Rodriguez, and his accompanying delegation at the Lekhwiya headquarters in Duhail.
During the meeting, the minister congratulated the general on the successful hosting and security arrangements of the Paris 2024 Olympics.
For his part, General Rodriguez expressed his gratitude to the minister for the vital role played by the Qatari forces in ensuring the security of the Olympics.
