DOHA: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has held a phone call with Prime Minister of the Caretaker Government of the Republic of Lebanon HE Najib Mikati.
During the call, they discussed the relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and support them. They also discussed the developments in Lebanon, ways to de-escalate the situation, and several topics of common concern.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's stance in support of the Republic of Lebanon and its constant support for the fraternal Lebanese people. In this regard, he voiced Qatar's deep concern over the developments in Lebanon and its support for all efforts aimed at Lebanon's unity, security, and stability.
He also stressed Qatar's readiness to provide everything that would de-escalate the situation and enhance the security and stability of the region.
