Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), a Qatar Foundation (QF) partner university, honoured the exceptional academic performance of 144 students in the spring 2024 semester: 26 first-years, 27 sophomores, 53 juniors and 38 seniors.
The CMU-Q Dean’s List ceremony takes place twice a year to acknowledge academic accomplishments by students in the previous semester.
Dean of CMU-Q, Michael Trick, addressing the students at the ceremony, said: “This academic honour recognises the hard work and success of our undergraduates each semester. I hope that this ceremony inspires all of our students to recognise their own potential and strive for excellence.”

CMU-Q offers undergraduate degree programmes in biological sciences, business administration, computer science, and information systems. Applications for the fall 2025 semester are now being accepted.
