Consumer electronics leader Sony Middle East and Africa, in collaboration with Fnac Qatar, organised an interactive architecture photography workshop to coach content creators on how to capture the essence of built environments by highlighting design, structure and spatial dynamics. The workshop was led by celebrated Omani photographer Abdulla Al-Mushaifri at Fnac, Lagoona Mall in Doha.

Abdulla is one of the most promising talents in the Arab region, and a Sony ambassador of Documentary. Recognised for his extensive portfolio which includes an impressive collection of photographs from all over the world, spanning travel and portrait photography, he regularly conducts workshops in various markets, encouraging amateur and professional photographers to hone their skills.

Guiding a total of 50 participants including photography enthusiasts, beginners and experienced photographers, attendees were encouraged to learn to emphasise form, light and perspective highlighting both the aesthetic and functional aspects of architectural works. The workshop attracted well-known content creators, including Arjun Raveendran, who is noted for food, fashion, landscape photography and cinematography; Mohamad Nijas, who is known for his travel, wildlife, and sports photography; Ranoosh Ali Bakr; and Anszad Mohammed, among others.

Sony is focused on enabling aspiring and well-established content creators to cultivate their skills, whether they are vloggers, streamers, or filmmakers. This initiative is the latest in a series of workshops that showcase the brand’s continuous support of the Middle East’s vibrant media and entertainment industry.

The workshops also offer an opportunity to connect with fellow content creators and build strong relationships in the industry. Moreover, this programme aims to empower aspiring content creators with cutting-edge camera setups designed to be companions for capturing stunning stills and cinematic moments.
