Iranian president says missile attack came in defence of interests, citizens

TEHRAN: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that the missile attack launched by his country on Israeli occupation was in defence of Iranian interests and citizens.

He added that the attack was based on legitimate rights and aimed at ensuring peace and security for Iran and the region, in statements carried by Iranian news agency IRNA. Pezeshkian emphasised that Iran was not an advocate of war, but it firmly stood against any threat.
