DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has received HE President Emomali Rahmon of the friendly Republic of Tajikistan, on the sidelines of the third summit of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) at the Ritz Carlton Hotel - Doha.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them, in addition to discussing a number of regional and international issues of common interest, and a number of topics on the summit agenda.

The meeting was attended by HE Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Chief of the Amiri Diwan, HE Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and a number of senior officials. From the Tajik side, it was attended by HE Osmanzoda Osmanali, Deputy Prime Minister, HE Sirajuddin Muhriddin, Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Sharifi Azam Shah, Assistant to the President for Foreign Affairs, HE Zoghi Zadeh Zoghi, Minister of Economic Development and Trade, HE Qaharzoda Fayzuddin, Minister of Finance, and a number of members of the accompanying official delegation.
