The Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a series of high-level meetings on the sidelines of the 3rd Asian Cooperation Dialogue Summit at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel-Doha, on Thursday.
HH the Amir met with Vice-President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the meeting, they discussed the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and the ways to enhance them. They also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments of mutual interest, and discussing several topics on the summit agenda.
The meeting was attended by Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs HE Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi and a number of senior officials. From the Emirati side, the meeting was attended by Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail bin Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Sports Dr Ahmad bin Abdullah Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi and a number of members of the official delegation.
HH the Amir also met with President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common interest and several topics on the summit agenda.

From the Tajik side, it was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Usmonali Usmonzoda, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Assistant to the President on Foreign Relations Sharifi Azamsho, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi, Minister of Finance Faiziddin Qahhorzoda, and a number of members of the official delegation.
HH the Amir met with Prime Minister of Thailand Paetongtarn Shinawatra.

It was also attended from the Thai side by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand Maris Sangiampongsa and a number of members of the official accompanying delegation. HH the Amir also met with Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva.
During the meeting, they discussed relations between Qatar and the IMF and ways to enhance them. They also discussed a number of topics on the ACD Summit’s agenda.
