The senior students of Stafford Sri Lankan School Doha (SSLSD) honoured and recognised their teachers at a special event organised to commemorate the World Teachers' Day recently. The students of Grade 13 took the lead in the celebrations. They hosted a special assembly to articulate and communicate their gratitude to the teachers. A special ceremonial cake was cut and roses distributed to all the teachers as a token of appreciation. The programme was graced by Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Qatar HE ASP Liyanage and Chairman of SSLSD Roshan Balasooriya along with a few members of the Board of Directors. (TNN)
