Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, will host the 10th meeting of the Ministers Responsible for Islamic Affairs and Endowments in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, on Sunday.
The meeting will discuss several important issues and topics, most notably the exchange of scientific research and experiences in the field of endowments between member states through interactive seminars via videoconferencing, presenting experiences of Islamic affairs, holding a world endowment day, and establishing a Gulf scientific observatory to highlight the true image of the tolerance of Islam.
This is in addition to preparing a working paper on the role of the Ministries of Endowments and Islamic and Religious Affairs in caring for people with disabilities, as well as a working paper entitled,‘The importance of caring for historic mosques’, in addition to topics of common interest..
On September 9, Qatar hostedthe ninth meeting of the Assistant Ministers responsible for Islamic Affairs and Endowments in the GCC countries, which was a preparatory meeting for the Sunday’s event.
