The National Sports Day Committee has announced the launch of the National Sports Day Award 2025 for government and private entities, aiming to honour the various entities that contribute to promoting the culture of practising sports and physical activity among their members. This came during a press conference held by the Ministry of Sports and Youth in the Al Sadfa Hall in Lusail Sports Hall on Monday.
The award aims to enhance positive competition between various institutions to encourage them to provide a healthy and active work environment, which contributes to improving public health and enhancing the sportsmanship spirit in society.
Advisor to the Minister of Sports and Youth and Chairman of the Organising Committee of the National Sports Day Abdulrahman bin Muslim Al Dosari stressed that the award comes in appreciation of the efforts made in organising sports events throughout the year, and in line with the vision of the National Sports Day, which seeks to make sports a sustainable lifestyle. Al Dosari said the participating entities in the Sports Day Award need to promote their sports activities via social media using the hashtag #In_Time and the hashtag #Sports_Is_Life, in addition to referring to the country’s Sports Day account.
