Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecom provider, has partnered with Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), the nation’s top digital bank, to launch a new AutoPay service through the QIBMobile App.

This innovative feature allows customers to automate payments for Ooredoo services, simplifying the bill payment process and ensuring timely payments without manual intervention.

In celebration of the service’s launch, QIB customers who subscribe to AutoPay during the promotional period will earn double Nojoom points on their first bill payment.

Typically, red and silver members earn one point for every QR2 spent, but during this promotion, they will earn two points for every QR 2. Likewise, Al Nokhba and Gold members, who also usually earn one point per QR 2, will receive two points with this offer.

Sabah Rabiah Al Kuwari, director of PR, sponsorships, and CSR at Ooredoo Qatar, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating: “This new service reinforces our ongoing commitment to offering convenient and seamless payment solutions while rewarding customer loyalty. Ooredoo constantly strives to enhance the customer experience by introducing innovative services that simplify lives and provide the highest level of service.”

QIB Personal Banking Group General Manager D Anand said, “We are proud to collaborate with Ooredoo to launch the AutoPay feature, further improving our customers’ banking experience. By turning the QIB Mobile App into a digital one-stop-shop, we enable our customers to manage their banking needs anytime, with 24/7accessibility.”

This partnership between Ooredoo and QIB provides a modern, flexible alternative to traditional bill payments, allowing customers to conveniently manage their Ooredoo bills through automated standing orders on the QIB Mobile App.

This partnership reflects the companies’ shared vision of leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance customer convenience and satisfaction.
