NASEEM Al Rabeeh Medical Centre, Al Rayyan branch, observed World Heart Day with a free health check-up campaign held on branch premises recently.
The campaign included free checkups of lipid profile, serum creatinine, blood sugar, blood pressure monitoring with ECG and cardiology consultation.
The doctors also educated patients on the importance of healthy heart as despite heart diseases being one of the leading causes of deaths worldwide, the perception of risk is low and warning signs are often ignored by people.
More than 250 people benefitted from the free check-ups and the doctors' consultation.
