Under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Center for Empowerment and Elderly Care (Ehsan), one of the centres under the umbrella of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work affiliated to the Ministry of Social Development and Family, organised Senior Destiny Forum for the centre’s members, coinciding with the Arab Day for the Elderly.
The forum was attended by Minister of Social Development and Family HE Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad and a number of ministers and senior officials.
During the forum, a video clip was shown where the centre’s members shared their stories, feelings and experiences in joining Ehsan clubs. In the clip, they addressed messages of thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership of Qatar and everyone who contributed to supporting and caring for them.
The ceremony also included a segment from generation to generation, which addressed messages of appreciation and respect from the young to the elderly, and reviewed the cognitive and life experiences that the new generation of adults acquires.
