Brilliant Indian International School (BIIS) celebrated Grandparents Day on September 26 with a heartwarming assembly, honouring the love and wisdom of grandparents.

Grade 3D students of the school, under the guidance of Shatadipa and Binumol, led the event, which began with Islamic and school prayers. Grandparents were warmly welcomed with flowers and badges, while the young anchors, Arham and Nakshatra, introduced the day’s activities.

The programme featured a delightful song, dance and skit that expressed gratitude for grandparents’ unconditional love. The students’ captivating performances were followed by games, filling the room with laughter. Grandparents shared life lessons and reflected on the joy they felt at being honoured.

BIIS Principal Asha Shiju highlighted the pivotal role grandparents play in building strong values and nurturing the emotional and moral growth of children. She thanked the grandparents for their unwavering love and acknowledged the students’ efforts in making the event a success.

The celebration concluded with group photos, prize distribution and refreshments, with a heartfelt message: “We love you, Grandparents, today and every day. Thank you for filling our lives with joy, warmth, and countless cherished memories.”
