Wakrah Basketball Club are set to compete in the 3x3 World Tour events taking place in the Kingdom of Bahrain for the second consecutive year on November 1 and 2. Additionally, the club will also participate in the 3x3 World Tour in China on November 16 and 17, based on their performance in the recently concluded Qatari 3x3 Basketball League, which consisted of five rounds.

The club’s entry into the 3x3 World Tour in Bahrain is a result of its performance in the initial round of the Qatari League, while its participation in the event in China is attributed to its results in the fifth round. Notably, Al Wakrah secured second place in the 3x3 basketball league, amassing a total of 410 points, while Al Rayyan claimed the top position with 430 points, and Qatar Club finished third with 335 points.

The 3x3 World Tour in Bahrain is expected to feature 20 teams, organized into five groups of four teams each. Each team will compete in three matches during the group stage, which is scheduled for October 30 and 31, prior to the commencement of the World Tour.

Following the group stage and the second round, the tournament will proceed to the semi-finals, culminating in the final day of the World Tour, where the championship match will also take place. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in the tournament.
