The Qatari handball team is seen with HE Jassim Rashid Al Buenain, Secretary-General of the Qatar Olympic Committee, posing with their gold medals at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Konya, Turkiye, on Sunday. Qatar defeated hosts Turkey 26-23 to clinch handball gold medal. Asian champions Qatar led 14-10 at the half-time. Qatar are the third country to win the handball gold at the Games. Algeria won the gold in 2005 and Saudi Arabia won in 2017.
