Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council HE Dr Hamda bint Hassan Al Sulaiti praised the contents of the lofty speech of the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, which laid the foundations for work directions in the next stage.
In her remarks to QNA, HE Dr Hamda emphasised the Shura Council’s support for what was stated in His Highness’s speech before the council regarding making constitutional amendments that would contribute to strengthening the unity and cohesion of Qatari society, which derives its strength from solidarity, cooperation, and unity. She noted that the directives of HH the Amir guide the Shura Council to perform its duties and continue its path in serving the nation and the citizens.
Dr Hamda stressed that these directives represent a roadmap for the council to follow in determining its priorities and developing its future strategies. She highlighted that the Shura Council is proceeding with steady and continuous steps towards contributing to achieving the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, guided by the wise directives of HH the Amir, which lay the foundations for national work and enhance the state’s capabilities to face challenges and achieve ambitions.
