BRUSSELS: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has met with President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola on the sidelines of the first GCC-EU Summit at the Parliament building in Brussels.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the European Parliament and ways to develop them. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments, especially the developments in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories and Lebanon, in addition to a number of topics on the summit agenda.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Emir, as well as a number of members of the European Parliament.
